Dr. Thomas Guidat obtained a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin with a focus on Circular Economy. His previous credentials include a double Masters Degree in International Business and Innovation and Technology Management after an exceptional student track record at Toulouse Business School and Technical University of Berlin.   

He is seasoned manager, specializing in helping foreign companies and universities establish and grow operations in Vietnam. With over twelve years in higher education and international business across several countries, he focuses on equipping future engineers and managers with the skills needed to build resilient business models and supply chains. 

He led the development of the Global Production Engineering Master’s program and co-created a research lab for applied production management at the Vietnamese-German University. As the Director of the Centre for Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer, he secured funding and partnerships for industry collaborations, enhancing career services and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Dr. Guidat’s expertise includes business consulting, curriculum development, and corporate training, with a strong track record in entrepreneurship, industrial management, and sustainability development. His work fosters industry-academia partnerships to provide FDI companies with skilled employees and long-term growth in Vietnam.
